Darragh Logan is a community pharmacist who has worked in South East London since he qualified in 2002.  He is a dedicated and passionate healthcare leader currently serving on the Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) and as Co-chair of the Pharmacy Alliance. He is also a Joint CPNL for Greenwich and Lewisham.

Darragh comes from a family background in community pharmacy and has a deep understanding g of the challenges and opportunities facing pharmacists at the frontline of patient care.

Darragh brings hands-on clinical experience  with a particular interest in men’s health and is driven by a commitment to improving access to medicines and pharmacy services for the diverse communities across Greenwich and Lewisham.

In his leadership roles, Darragh has actively championed the voice of community pharmacists, helping to foster collaboration across the sector to shape local healthcare strategy and policy. He is passionate about ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care close to home, and works tirelessly to strengthen the role of community pharmacy within the wider NHS landscape.

Experienced community pharmacist and healthcare consultant with over 40 years of expertise in medicines management, prescribing support, and public health advisory services. Owner and lead pharmacist at Blackwells Chemist in Beckenham since 1983, with extensive experience advising GP practices on prescribing optimisation, audit, disease management, and budget control. Commissioned by Bromley Health Authority to coordinate an antibiotic resistance campaign and produce a public health report. Active contributor to NHS and community healthcare through leadership roles on medicines management, prescribing, and pharmacy advisory committees. Strong background in governance and education, including serving as Founding Chairman of The Swaminarayan School and as a school governor in Bromley. Holds a BPharm (Hons) from the University of London and a Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutics and Prescribing from Keele University. Recognised for excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving ability, and commitment to high standards of patient care and community service.

I am a Pharmacy Support Manager at Boots, currently responsible for supporting pharmacy teams across Southwest London, the West End, Croydon, and Wimbledon. As a registered pharmacist with over 15 years of experience in community pharmacy, I have developed extensive expertise in delivering high-quality patient care, operational leadership, and service development.

Throughout my career, I have worked across a variety of pharmacy settings, supporting teams to provide safe, effective, and accessible healthcare services to local communities. I am also an Independent Prescriber (IP), which has enhanced my clinical knowledge and strengthened my commitment to advancing patient-centred care within community pharmacy.

In my current role, I work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy teams, and healthcare stakeholders to drive service excellence, support workforce development, and ensure the successful delivery of NHS and private healthcare services. I am passionate about the evolving role of community pharmacy and the opportunities it presents to improve patient outcomes and reduce health inequalities.

I am committed to supporting the profession’s continued development and to contributing positively to the future of community pharmacy across South East London and beyond.

5. Salim Jetha

I have  a distinguished career spanning 50 years in pharmacy, As the owner of a single independent pharmacy for 45 years in Lewisham, I have successfully navigated and championed the profound transformation of community pharmacy from traditional dispensing to a clinical services hub.

Deeply rooted in the community, I has proudly served three generations of local families.  My pharmacy became a vital public health stronghold. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the pharmacy was chosen to launch the national vaccination programme, hosting the then Minister for Vaccine Deployment, Nadhim Zahawi. Furthermore, during the critical polio resurgence, the pharmacy was selected as a highly designated site for paediatric vaccinations, and it currently stands as the only site in the area designated to provide COVID-19 vaccinations for children over five.

Beyond community care, I am a founding member and was a Chief Executive Officer of Avicenna, a premier pharmacy support group dedicated to empowering independent pharmacists. Currently, I serve as a Board Member for the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPA) and as the Treasurer of the Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC).

A passionate advocate for the future of the profession, I have mentored and trained numerous pharmacists toward their professional qualifications. Recognized as a key voice in the sector, my  insights are frequently sought after by the trade press, and regularly serve on the judging panels for prestigious national pharmacy awards and addressed many conferences.

My professional achievement was recognised by Royal College of Pharmacy by granting me a Fellow and was winner of Pharmacy Business Awards
