Community Pharmacy Seasonal Vaccination Service (COVID-19 and Flu)

This page contains information about the Seasonal Vaccination Services (COVID-19 and adult flu).

Via this new Advanced service, pharmacy owners can offer both COVID-19 and adult flu vaccinations, or just adult flu vaccination if they wish.

From 1st April 2026, this new service replaced the previously commissioned COVID-19 vaccination National Enhanced Service and Adult Flu Vaccination Advanced Service.

The new service initially supports the administration of COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible cohorts as part of the Spring 2026 COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

COVID-19 vaccinations for the Spring 2026 campaign commenced on 13th April 2026 and will end on 30th June 2026.

Later in the year, pharmacy owners providing the service will be able to provide COVID-19 and adult flu vaccinations or solely adult flu vaccinations during the autumn/winter 2026/27 vaccination season.
